Rekeying is the cheapest fix: your locks stay on the door, the old keys stop working that afternoon. If a lock is worn out or not up to standard, I’ll tell you, and you decide.

A quick call or a text with photos of each lock. I’ll give you a price per lock before I come.
I do the whole house in one visit
Common locks and cylinders live in the van, so most houses are finished the same visit.
Keys counted and handed over
You get every key, tested in every lock, and a tax invoice with GST itemised.
Price: quoted per lock on the phone, before I leave for your place. The number I give you is the number on the invoice.

New home questions
Do I need to rekey a brand new house?
Usually, yes. The builder, the trades and the sales agent may all have had copies during the build. Rekeying means the only working keys are the ones you hold.
Rekey or replace?
If the hardware is in good condition, rekeying is quicker and cheaper. I only suggest replacing a lock when it’s worn, damaged or not up to the standard you need, and you hear the price first.
Can you do it the day I get the keys?
Ring me as soon as you know your settlement or move-in date and I’ll fit you in as close to it as I can.
I’m renting. Can I still do this?
Check with your agent or landlord first. I work with agencies all the time and can cut a key for them too.
