For family violence services and case managers
Locks changed quickly, quietly and safely for the people you support.
When a victim survivor needs their home secured, you need a locksmith who answers, quotes the same hour and treats your client with care. That’s the job I want to do for your team, across Geelong and Melbourne’s west.
Case managers can call or text any time. Written quote within the hour, made out to your service.

I understand what this call means
You’ve done the hard part. Let me take care of the locks.
When a case manager calls about locks, it is rarely routine. The person using violence may still have a key, the safety plan depends on the home being secure, and your client has already had to tell their story too many times.
So I keep my part simple. One phone call or text, a written quote you can attach to the Flexible Support Package straight away, and a visit that is calm, respectful and over as quickly as the work allows.
- You send the requestCall, text or use the form below: suburb, client reference, what’s needed and how to safely contact your client.
- Quote within the hourWritten, itemised and made out to your service. Under the client reference instead of their name if you prefer.
- I secure the homeSame day wherever possible, at a time that fits the safety plan. Every lock tested before I leave.
- Invoice and reportSent to your service with a short completion report for your records. Nothing is posted, shared or left at the property.
How I work with your clients
Safety and privacy come first, on every job.
-
Keys to your client only
New keys are handed to your client and nobody else. I keep no copies and no spare key leaves with me.
-
Discreet from start to finish
I contact your client only in the way you tell me to. No photos of people, belongings or house numbers, no social media, and no paperwork left behind.
-
Calm and respectful on site
I explain what I’m doing before I do it, work quietly and leave when the job is done. A support worker or police member is always welcome to be there.
-
Paperwork that suits your FSP process
Itemised quotes and tax invoices made out to your service, GST shown, with the client reference you give me. Ready for approval without a phone call.
-
If something doesn’t feel right, I stop
If the person using violence arrives, I don’t engage. I make sure your client is safe, call 000 if needed and let you know straight away.
-
Renting? I can help with the next step
With an intervention order or safety notice, a renter can change the locks without the landlord’s permission. I supply the key the rental provider is entitled to, kept separate, so the excluded person never gets one.
What I can secure
Everything a home needs to feel safe again.
Lock changes and door or window repairs are immediate measures under the Personal Safety Initiative, so they can go ahead without waiting for an audit. These are the jobs I do every week.
- Rekeying existing locks so every old key stops working
- New deadbolts and deadlatches on front and back doors
- Security screen door locks
- Sliding door locks and patio bolts
- Keyed window locks on every openable window
- Garage, side gate and letterbox locks
- Damaged doors and frames made safe after a forced entry
- Every lock keyed alike, so your client carries one key
Typical costs
A clear number before any work starts.
